Company's history
A group of experienced marine industry professionals established the Service Champions Oy in 1993. Since then our experts have been working in marine and shipbuilding industry sector's consulting, maintenance and installation commissions on hundreds of ships and shipyards in over fifty countries.
In 1994 we started a cooperation with Rolls Royce's propulsion and winch unit. Our main service for Rolls Royce is equipment assembling and carrying out challenging installation and maintenance commissions.
Service Champions started cooperation with Finnish shipyards in 1996. Ever since then the quality finish of our work can be seen in renovated ships as well as in new world-class cruise ships. Our cooperation with shipyards includes equipment and system installations to engine rooms and to on deck areas, and we also test, commission and service the installed equipment.
Since 2000 we have been a contract partner to Steerprop Ltd. Our maintenance engineers and mechanics work in the Steerprop's propeller factory and by the Steerprops commission on various ships, shipyards and offshore ships even in the most challenging commissions and often in harsh environment.
